Regional Information
The Northeast Georgia Mountains Travel Association (NEGMTA) is the regional travel association for the 17 counties of Northeast Georgia. In the Northeast Georgia mountains you'll find dramatic vistas, wild whitewater, and unspoiled forests. You'll also find spectacular shopping in brand-name outlets and quaint boutiques. Cool in the summer, mild in the winter, it's the perfect place to escape the crowds for a weekend on the trail or wander the storefronts in beautiful small towns.
